The Dolomite mountains are my home. I was born and raised in Moena among amazing peaks. I first became ski instructor in the Italian Ski School Moena Dolomites and then mountain-bike and nordic walking instructor. In the end, I became a Mountain Leader.
I was born in 1975 in Moena. I grew up here and have always been experiencing the mountains directly. When I was a child, I have been playing on the meadows back of my house under the calling of the nature.
I needed to follow my passion for sport and, like most of the children in the Fassa Valley, I started soon skiing. I became ski instructor in 1997 and nordic walking instructor in 1998.
Bikes are another passion of mine. I became mountain-bike instructor in 2014. But my greatest love, that is my today’s job, is hiking. I became Mountain Leader in 2016.
The Mountain Leader is a professional figure recognised by the law. All mountain leaders are enrolled in the Register of Alpine Guides and are experts in hiking without any altitude limit, if they do not use any alpinist equipment.
I attended a highly selective course and needed to know deeply the mountain environment and its culture, but also science, weather and develop historical and geological skills. It is very important to be able to give people advices about eating and training and to act with confidence, instilling trust.
My mission is conveying my passion for the mountains to other people.
