Week in the Dolomites Unesco World Heritage Site

There are many family-friendly routes in the Dolomites with beautiful trails among fairy-tale lakes, forests, and streams where you can meet animals living in holes hidden among the rocks.

We will walk along short itineraries in the sun and in the shade, cherishing panoramic views and alpine valleys where you can breathe pure air.

Walks and bike trips for couples and families

Day 1: hotel check-in, dinner, and meeting with our team to discuss the weekly program. Overnight stay.

Day 2: meeting in the hotel with the hiking guide and first trip in the San Pellegrino Valley. Once at high altitude, we will take the dirt road that leads to the first hut where we can take a break. We will walk along a track at higher altitude until the second hut where we will have lunch with typical products (one dish and water included). Free time to cherish the wonderful view. Back to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3: meeting in the hotel with the hiking guide and trip in Parco Naturale di Paneveggio. We will walk along a dirt road through the forest and then in an alpine valley. First break in a typical mountain hut.  We will walk under imposing rocks towards a scree valley and a glacial stream. Packed lunch included. In the end, we will go back to the hotel after a short visit to the deer park. After dinner we will watch a video with pictures of the Dolomites.  Overnight stay.

Day 4: meeting in the hotel with the hiking guide and trip towards the main huts in Moena. We will talk about flora and fauna and the destruction caused by the Vaia storm. Once above the village, we will take a break in a small typical farm where we will have lunch (first or main course and beverage included). We will visit the permanent exhibition La Gran Vera ‘the Great War’ 1914 – 1918 Galizia Dolomiti (kids allowed from 12 years old). Back to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5: meeting with the hiking guide and visit to a well-known dairy farm where we will have lunch (typical dish and beverage included). Early in the afternoon we will make a trip along the stunning cycling path through the Fassa and Fiemme Valleys. Our team will bring you the bikes at the hotel.  Back to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 6: meeting in the hotel with the hiking guide and trip at high altitude towards a traditional alpine hut. We will walk across a typical alpine valley. Our route follows through the forest and a valley full of traditional wooden huts. Once we reach the farm, you will visit the barn and the cheese factory. You could also buy cheese directly from the owners. Light and genuine lunch in the farm (typical dish and beverage included). Back to the parking in the afternoon towards the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: free time for shopping in the traditional shops in Moena or for visiting museums and other villages in Fassa and Fiemme Valleys. Free lunch. Dinner at the hotel and meeting with our team for the greetings. Overnight stay.

Day 8:  after breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and end of the stay.
